Newbie

Meant to be 05C6vertbabysitter but I hit C instead of V. :rotflmao:

Anyhow, I do just that, I babysit a 2005 silver C6 convertible for my neighbor while he's out of town for work for months at a time.

I also live vicariously through my best friend's 2009 JSB ZR-1 and heavily modified silver 2010 LS3 targa.

I had a 1969 Stingray convertible with a 435/427, 4 speed and 17,000 original miles but sold it to my cousin.

My 1991 Chevy S10 Blazer has a 1988 35th annv. steering wheel (with functional telescopic) and my 1989 GMC Sierra is set to get one too as well as Tuned Port Injection.

I hang out with the Longhorn Corvette club as well. I was wary to hang out with them but they are cool unlike the Brookville Corvette Club where I grew up...If you didn't have a Corvette in that town, you were dirt. :sunot:

So anyway, I'll pass the forum to some of my Corvette friends to get them to join up and see some action over here.

Welcome to the forum. It would be great if you could bring some people on over. This place has some great potential. :grd:

I tried to see if I could modify his screen name, but that must require "Admin Powa" lol

I'm a mod on GMSB Shag...Haha Saw the forum in your sig there and since I do the babysitting, figured I'd join up. Thanks for fixing the name, fat fingers.

I'll get a few pics next time I take it out of the garage.

I'm going on a mostly Corvette cruise this weekend and definitely tossing the forum out there so they can sign up.

Welcome to the forum. 69 Stingray. Do you miss it?

I do. My cousin sold it, along with the rest of his Corvette collection (1 of every year) a couple of years ago.

I bought it at a salvage auction in 2000, it had been hit in the front. My cousin sent me to his body shop in Indiana and it came out flawless with as many NOS parts as we could find and they blended the paint so well. He liked it so much he made me an offer and I sold it to him.

Why did he sell his collection off?
